Skinbender MKII/FF- The MKII is probably the coolest of the cool, when
it comes to classic fuzz tones. The SkinBender MKII/FF pulls no punches
when recreating the sounds the circuit is famous for. It does have features that add
versatility WITHOUT compromise of the exact MKII sound.
The MKII side of things is true to original design and sound, with the addition of a
Pre - Gain control. This allows a very wide range of tones that otherwise may have
ben unobtainable. Well now they are ... when the pregain is turned full clockwise ,
it is true MKII as if the pre-gain were not there. Dialing the pre-gain back a bit , allows
you to go full boar on the attack , introducing another realm of fuzztortion that otherwise,
would have left you with an uncontrollable feedback. A very useful feature
The FF side , shares transistors with the last stage of the MKII. It is a Fuzz Face circuit by
design, but a little meaner , more aggressive , and more cut than one might expect from a
classic fuzz face.. Very Musical and very responsive to guitar volume changes.
Built on turret board made of quilted maple with an amber dye.
9V battery drawer for hassle free battery changes.
Hand Crafted in the USA.

Some background history from the gearpage:
"Ok, so here is the scoop. A fuzz addicted tatoo artist in Texas, Ryan, has been building high-quality fuzz clones and creations for friends and personal use. Luckily for us, he has decided to start offering these fine specimens to the public. I don't believe this will not be a large quantity production run, he builds these one at a time and puts a lot of focus into detail work, quality parts, etc. It truly is a labor of love and having been in communication with him for a few weeks now, it is clear to me that he is a true fuzz aficionado and will not be spitting out pedals for a profit, but to simply support the expense of parts he insists on using. He has given me permission to post the gut shots, you can see for yourself the build quality. Also in my befriending of Ryan, I have no doubts that he will back his product. As far as availability and prices? I'm not sure those have even been set yet. I believe Ryan is still fine tuning his designs both aesthetically and logistically. When they are ready to hit the retail market, which I think is soon, I am unsure if they will be sold direct or what.
